We are blessed to have a safe and comfortable life in Singapore. For thousands if not millions of displaced persons, refugees and asylum seekers, the wait for resettlement takes years and sometimes does not happen at all.
Imagine endless days with little or limited access to warmth, safe drinking water, food, privacy, hygiene, prenatal care and all that we may take for granted. Most refugees do not have rights to work and spend days on end with little to do which may lead to diminished sense of self-worth and depression.
JRS Singapore works with JRS Asia Pacific and member organizations to identify the most critical projects to do fundraising for. We also organize community prayers, talks and exhibitions to raise awareness of the plight of refugees and victims of human trafficking. We rely on volunteers, churches and the public to support our work.
Show us your support today in prayer, by volunteering, joining our Friends of JRS Singapore or donating to our projects. Like and follow us on Facebook and help us share our stories and raise awareness.

A Prayer for Refugees
Lord, we pray that in your mercy and kindness you watch over all refugees in these desperate and challenging times. Comfort them in their separation from loved ones, in grieving for their lost loved ones and in exile from their homes. May you grant them safe passage to resettlement.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
